Uncle Mordechai (Sacha Yanow)
Uncle Mordechai was born too long ago and has been called a monster, a gay, a werewolf, and a mensch. He is staunchly pro-hair and fights against the domestication of his kind. He lectures frequently at colleges, mens groups, and smalltown Pride Month events. He sent himself to the future to help realign us with our ancient lunar rhythms and nocturnal emissions.
Sacha Yanow is a NYC based performance artist and actor. Her work has been presented by venues including Danspace Project, Joe's Pub and the New Museum in NYC; PICA’s TBA Festival/Cooley Gallery in Portland, OR; and Festival Theaterformen in Hanover, Germany. www.sachayanow.com
