Tzotzona, aka Marvin Astorga (he/him), is a Los Angeles-based electronic musician and 1/2 of the experimental music/performance duo Xina Xurner along with artist Young Joon Kwak. Astorga’s solo project, Tzotzona, is a brown-futurist electronic music undertaking synthesizing elements of Cumbia, Technobanda, house, techno, acid, Quebradita, and 3bal. Taking inspiration from Astorga’s upbringing in the Ciudad Juarez-El Paso Borderplex, as well as sampling, a pre-Columbian imaginary, and 90s-era Mexican television, the music looks to the recent and ancestral past for a vision of a queer, brown future where borders, gender, time, and space are fluid.

Charles Galin King is a creature of facial expressions who brings the weird, creepiness, warmth to the stagessss and lets us feel things alongside him/they, an East Los King: Charles Galin King.

Scottie Harvey is a writer & animator from Los Angeles. She is currently writing her first novel which is about the last Cold Stone Creamery.  For Weirdo Night, Scottie will be showing a 10-minute segment of her play “Hole Gazers,”  about a gay porn star who finds his likeness has been appropriated for a series of workplace accident prevention videos. “It looks like me,” he thinks, “but I’ve never fallen into a manhole before.” www.scottieharvey.com.

Taylor Plenn is a professional saxophone and flute player.
